Who is Echo Freedom
Echo Freedom is the literary pseudonym of an author Portuguese-Brazilian who transformed words into tools of resistance. His works, such as "The dictator's fiancée" and "Leona Valderas" , delve into themes such as power, cultural identity and individual freedom, always with a critical and deeply human perspective.
Inspired by Christian values and the conviction that every person has the right to dignity, Echo Freedom devised a social project: the creation of a Christian NGO dedicated to supporting and reintegrating homeless people.
The project is in the development phase structuring and raising funds. Part of the observation that a large proportion of people living on the streets — close to 75% — have gone through traumatic experiences of an psychological or psychiatric, chemical dependency or spiritual crises which resulted in lack of love, disbelief, loss of opportunities and social invisibility.
Echo Freedom believes that, in this audience, there is extraordinary talents — artistic, intellectual, and technical professionals. People with high potential who need opportunity, direction, and faith to shine again.
Commitment: 10% of the profits from all sales of Echo Freedom books are destined to the NGO's future project.
